When you are in the SEM lab analyzing the microstructure of your ceramics-based samples, take note of any interesting features you observe – grain orientation, size or distribution of reinforcing particles in the matrix, porosity, or anything else that resembles art, a geographic scene, an animal, or aliens. Save the images and submit them to YCN Photo Contest for a chance to win the top prizes! The photos can be SEM, Optical Microscopy, or TEM images.

3rd Prize: 50 Euros
